Refund Policy

This policy explains when you can get your money back for things you buy on SafetyFileBuilder. It is part of our Terms of Use.

1. Who sells to you

Our order process is handled by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle takes the payment, handles tax and receipts, and pays any refund back to the card or account you paid with.

2. AI credits

• If you have not used any of the credits from a pack, you can ask for a full refund of that pack within 14 days of buying it.
• Credits that have been used cannot be refunded, because each AI job is paid for on your behalf at the moment it runs.
• If an AI job goes wrong and gives you no result, you are charged only for what was really used, if anything. If you think you were charged by mistake, tell us and we will put the credits back.
• Credits do not expire, and they cannot be exchanged for cash or moved to another account.

3. Storage plans

Paid storage plans are not on sale yet. Before they are, this policy will say how refunds for them work.

4. How to ask for a refund

Email support@safetyfilebuilder.com from the email address of your SafetyFileBuilder account, with the date of the purchase, or reply to your Paddle receipt. You can also manage a purchase at paddle.net. We aim to answer within 5 working days. Paddle usually returns the money within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.

5. Your rights

This policy does not take away any rights you have under South African consumer law (such as the Consumer Protection Act and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act) or the consumer law of the country where you live.
